Reservations, Required Deposits and Cancellation Agreement:
Reservations for Wedding Rentals Are My Forte are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis only. A signed and dated rental agreement and pre-negotiated security/damage deposit (when applicable) are required to reserve rental items and a specific date. Your date is NOT confirmed until you have received a copy of the rental agreement and an invoice from Wedding Rentals Are My Forte for the partial payment and security/damage deposit (when applicable). Rental services require a signed rental agreement and 50% nonrefundable deposit. Deposits, which are paid to reserve rentals on a specific date, are transferable to another date (if rentals are available) within ten (10) days of the date the reservation was made. After ten (10) days, all deposits are subject to the cancellation policy and may become non-refundable. Invoice with changes, substitutions and final counts are to be paid in full thirty (30) days prior to delivery or pick up of rental items. Any changes must be placed in writing or emailed as to avoid any confusion. A detailed invoice will be submitted following any changes to your order by email. Additional services require an appropriate deposit and will be charged to your credit card unless other terms are specified. Emails and electronic submissions to us are considered legally binding and shall be considered your consent to contract with us, nor do they require a signature to be valid. Please be aware that once this agreement is signed, and your event date scheduled, all other renters have been refused your specific rentals and services for your event date, and thus all payments are non-refundable.
Security/Damage Deposits (Applicable when an invoice total is $500 or more)
A security/damage deposit will be pre-determined at time of agreement. Many of the items are antique/vintage items and are fragile and irreplaceable. For this reason, a pre-determined value must be placed on items should they not be returned, or if they are returned in a broken or otherwise damaged condition. Renters are responsible for loss or damage of items and will be charged at the pre-determined value, taking into consideration the age and condition of the items at time of rental. If any damage or theft occurs to property of Wedding Rentals Are My Forte, the renter will be responsible for the replacement value even if it exceeds the pre-determined security deposit. If cost is more than the security/damage deposit an invoice will be sent and payment due within fourteen (14) days. Refundable damage deposit will be returned within twenty-one (21) days after your event less any charges for damage, extra time charges not arranged in advance, or other fees incurred by Wedding Rentals Are My Forte due to failure on renters part to abide by policies stated herein.
All rented items and services may be cancelled if notice is received, in writing, no later than thirty (30) days prior to the event date. You would not be obligated to pay the balance of your invoice, unless you placed a special order for an out-of-stock item, which required item(s) to be purchased specifically for your event. In such cases, you would be contractually bound to pay the balance due on the account. If cancellation occurs after the invoice has been paid in full, but prior to seven (7) days of event, 100% of the security/damage deposit will be refunded and 50% of the invoice will be refunded. If notice of cancellation occurs within seven (7) days of the event, 50% of the security/damage deposit will be refunded and 25% of the total invoice will be refunded. Security/damage deposit is required if invoice totals $500 or more. Refund requests and cancellations must be made in writing and will be responded to promptly by Wedding Rentals Are My Forte.
Renter Pick-up, Return, Set-up, Tear-down, Late Returns:
Renter Pick-Up/Return Rental Requirements
Rentals must be picked-up and secured within an enclosed portion of the vehicle and/or enclosed trailer. A valid driver’s license for the driver, a credit card and ID from the cardholder must be on file. Renter is responsible for supplying own moving supplies (moving blankets, tie
downs, etc…). If arriving in inclement weather or without appropriate supplies the renter may be denied rentals and will not be eligible for a refund. You may request a last-minute delivery and we will do our best to accommodate you, but there are no guarantees. Rental items must be returned on the due date to avoid additional fees. If items are not returned within one (1) day, replacement fees will be assessed in addition to the extra day’s rental and delivery fees, no refunds, no exceptions. Any items missing upon return are automatically charged for replacement or additional day’s rental fee. Renter is to inform us upon arrival if something is damaged or missing.
Renter Set-up/Tear Down: If you opt to perform the set-up yourself, the renter takes full responsibility for proper set-up of items to ensure safety and full stability. If you have family or friends helping you or you use your own decorator, such person(s) are also required to abide by our guidelines, but you, the renter, will be held responsible for damaged or missing items. All rented items including accessories, small parts, etc… must be placed back in appropriate containers, using packing materials, and must be returned with your order to avoid replacement fees. Rental items must be cleaned, if necessary, and free of debris and liquids (example: vases, candle holders, tables) before returning. Only drip-less or mechanical candles may be used in our candlestick holders. If candle holders are returned with wax residue, a $10 cleanup fee per candleholder will be assessed. Please be careful not to discard small rented items.
If items are returned late, the renter will be charged for an additional day’s rental fee. If items are not returned within three (3) days and renter is not able to be reached, replacement fees will be assessed and charged to the credit card on file. Communication is important.
Owner Delivery, Pick-up, Set-up, Tear-down:
Our delivery charges start at $25.00.
Please make sure you adhere to the time of delivery and have communicated who will be the contact person to sign for the invoice for the rentals.
Round Trip Delivery: Delivery fees are assessed based on a two-trip basis (one to deliver and one to pick-up). If additional trips are required, you will automatically be charged any additional day’s rental fee, as well as a delivery fee. If your ceremony and reception are in two separate locations, additional delivery fees will apply. No items may be moved from the location of the place of delivery, to another location, without prior written permission or agreement on invoice. A responsible party (you or another adult 18 years of age or older) must be present upon delivery to sign the delivery invoice and accept the items suitable for use. Any services added at that time will be charged to your account.
Extended Load In/Out or Non-Standard Deliveries: Certain locations require labor intensive load in/out (including elevators and stairs) and these logistical details must be arranged prior to your event. Please be sure to mention all these details to be sure we provide you with an accurate quote. Labor intensive deliveries range from an additional $50-$200. If Wedding Rentals Are My Forte discovers a special delivery situation upon arrival, you will be assessed a surcharge equal to the value of one day’s rental, and the credit card on file will be so charged.
Pick-up: Items must be gathered and ready for loading following event. Items must be stored indoors, in a secure location, until pick-up. If items are not available or accessible upon arrival for pick-up, another day’s rental fee and delivery fee will be charged. The renter may return the items or schedule another pick-up time, at an additional fee. If the renter will not be available during pick-up, it is the renter’s responsibility to coordinate with the venue/contact person to ensure all items are gathered in a suitable location. It is not Wedding Rentals Are My Forte’s responsibility to ensure the items are ready for pick-up or to find any missing items. The renter has the option to return items to avoid an extra fee. If items are not returned within one (1) day, replacement fees will be assessed in addition to the extra day’s rental and delivery fees, no refunds, no exceptions.
Set-Up/Tear Down Fee
This fee includes the set-up or installation of the rented item(s) and applies only to the decorations that WE PROVIDE. We do not install or decorate with items that were not provided by us. The set-up fee does not include breakdown, cleanup, or removal. If, upon arrival, Wedding Rentals Are My Forte discovers that tables, containers or other items require cleaning before we can properly setup your rentals, we will assess your account for cleaning and preparing the necessary areas/items and charge the credit card on file. Or, Wedding Rentals Are My Forte may have to simply drop off items and proceed to another event with no refund being issued for paid set-up fees. Fees are based on total number of items, assembly time and decorating involvement. A tear down service is available for an additional fee.
Damaged and Missing Items and Liabilities:
When you return your items, the office manager will check the items, but is not responsible to check for missing or damaged items. Wedding Rentals Are My Forte will notify you within seven (7) days of the event if damages are discovered or items are found to be missing upon sorting, laundering and counting. Damaged items are discarded within ten (10) days unless the renter requests to come pick them up. After ten (10) days, the renter gives up rights to the item(s). Photos of damages will be submitted as proof, upon request. If damaged items are not paid for within fourteen (14) days, the credit card on file will be charged, unless payment arrangements have been agreed to.
Liabilities and Hold Harmless
The renter agrees that Wedding Rentals Are My Forte is not liable for any damages or injuries to renter or any third party caused by the use of rental items. The renter assumes all risk of personal property damage or personal injury and if any accident involving rented items has occurred while in their possession, renter shall make Wedding Rentals Are My Forte aware by written statement of details of occurrence of event, including police report and names and contact information of witnesses. The renter agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Wedding Rentals Are My Forte from any and all claims including attorney fees, demands, losses, actions and liabilities including injury to persons and damage to the property. Wedding Rentals Are My Forte will also not be responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items. The renter will be responsible for a 1.5% monthly interest fee and all attorney/collection fees, if applicable.

All rentals are one calendar day (24 hr) use unless prior arrangements are listed on the agreement.
Rental prices are listed on the invoice and both parties are held to the pricing agreed upon at the time of signing the agreement. No changes may be made to an order thirty (30) days prior to the event without forfeiting partial payments and/or security deposits, which conditions are stated in prior paragraphs. Rental prices are subject to change without notice. Price quotes are valid for fourteen (14) days. Orders with special pricing must be booked by the date specified. Rental prices do not include tax and additional fees. Renter must be at least 18 years of age or older to rent items. We accept cash, VENMO, and major credit cards.
A valid credit card must be kept on file. The credit card will be used for damages, missing items, late fees, replacement fees, cleaning fees, or added services as outlined above. The credit card will be charged if changes are made the day of the event, such as added services, labor or additional items are requested or required, or as otherwise stated in this Agreement.
Non-payment/Breach of Agreement
No services contained in this agreement will be rendered, delivered, or available if balance is not paid, in full, thirty (30) days prior to your event. No payments will be accepted beyond the event date. No exceptions!
If payment is not received by the due date, we will consider your rented items and services available for another renter’s use. Wedding Rentals Are My Forte is not contractually obligated to accept payments beyond the due date, nor refund previous payments. We will schedule another renter’s event on your event date if we have been unsuccessful in contacting you or obtaining a response from you regarding payment. We will attempt to contact you using all phone numbers & email addresses provided. You will not receive a notice in the mail. We understand that things happen which are out of your control. If possible, we will work with you if you experience difficulty. It is possible to modify your agreement, but it must first be approved by Wedding Rentals Are My Forte. Communicate with us!
By signing this agreement, you give Wedding Rentals Are My Forte permission to use the photos that we take at your event on our website and advertisements, materials, etc…, with the understanding that you will not profit from them in any way.
Misuse of Items
Upon pickup or delivery, if Wedding Rentals Are My Forte perceives that misuse will occur, we reserve the right to refuse delivery.
When you sign your invoice at pick up or delivery, you are agreeing that you have received all your items in good condition and that the items are the correct items you ordered.
Terms and Conditions
Renter agrees to the Rental Policies as provided for herein, and acknowledges and accepts the terms of this Agreement. Final selections, counts and cancellations must be received no later than thirty (30) days prior to the event.
